Zero Drift Watch Co. specializes in vintage mechanical timepieces from the mid-twentieth century. Pieces that already proved themselves. Pieces that ran for decades before they found us, and will run for decades after they leave us.
The focus is Japanese and Swiss horology from roughly 1955 to 1985. The era when watches were earned, worn, and built to outlive their owners. Plus the rarities that sit quietly outside the mainstream collector spotlight, waiting to be recognized again.
Every piece in the catalog is hand-selected for what serious collectors actually hunt: original signed crowns, original signed crystals, untouched dials, intact medallions, full sets where they survive.
We don't pass off polished cases as unpolished. We don't write around damage. We don't fabricate condition. The watch tells its own truth, and our job is to listen carefully before we ever speak about it.
- We don't refinish
- We don't repolish
- We don't re-lume
- We don't replace dials
- We don't invent provenance
The work that has been done was done before the watch found us, and we disclose what we know about it. Vintage watches earn their character through wear and through age. We sell pieces that respect that earned character rather than try to erase it.
Every watch is examined for movement consistency, dial originality, case authenticity, and parts integrity before it goes live. References that fail this filter are rejected. The pieces that make it through the filter are the pieces you see.
Zero Drift is one person, working out of Seattle. Every watch in the catalog was selected, photographed, written about, and shipped by the same hands. No middlemen. No drop-shippers. No automated relisters. Just a careful eye, a clean workbench, and a respect for the work the originals put in.
If you message about a piece, you are talking to the same person who bought it, examined it, and decided it was worth carrying. Questions get direct answers. Negotiations happen in plain language. Provenance, where it exists, gets shared in full.
Everything ships from Seattle. Packed with care, insured for full value, and tracked end-to-end.
We list across multiple channels simultaneously. First sale wins. The rest come down within hours.
Every watch is sold as-is, without service warranty. Vintage timepieces are mechanical objects with sixty or more years of life behind them. They don't come with guarantees from anyone, and we would rather be honest about that than sell a story we cannot keep.
What we promise instead: thorough disclosure of every condition detail we know, accurate photography that doesn't hide flaws, and direct answers to every question before purchase.
